Clouds of Inspiration
Clouds of Inspiration
Clouds can stir the imagination. These puffs of air laced with water crystals take on mysterious colors and shapes. Walking in the beauty of Alaska in the last decade, I've watched in awe as clouds morphed into hearts, gods of myth, and Jonah’s whale. With their infinite changeability and untouchable height, it's no wonder clouds have been given mythological and folkloric qualities by many cultures.
Dwayne Cole and his wife, Beth, moved to Alaska in 2011 to be with family. Their daughter, Dr. Kimberly Beth Thomas and son-in-law, Dr. Kenneth C. Thomas, came to start their medical practices, and with their busy schedule needed help in caring for their two small children, Cole and Clara. In 2019, their son, Dr. Kevin Dwayne Cole, married Susan, and Dwayne and Beth gained two new grandchildren, Anna and Matthew.
Dwayne has earned degrees, including a Ph.D. in New Testament with a major in Greek. Dwayne’s passion is poetry inspired by his daily walks in the beauty and wonder of Alaska. He has published 21 other books plus numerous articles and lessons for Bible study.
