Turning Books into Bread

Parson's Porch & Book Publishing is a book publishing company with a double focus.  We focus on the needs of creative writers who need a professional publisher to turn their words into books, & we also focus on the needs of others by turning their books into bread by sharing our profits with those who are homeless and displaced by meeting their basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and safety.

Think About These Things

Think About These Things is a book for reflection, meditation, and devotion for Christians and others, the writings of which were born during the first two years of the COVID pandemic in America. Written by a Presbyterian clergyman with his small North Carolina congregation as well as his many friends in mind, the varied subjects are a potpourri of issues, ideas, and subjects emanating from the Scriptures and the Christian life. The title comes from Philippians 4:8 (NRSV):

Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
