Living on Grace Street | Kenneth K. Humphreys
Living on Grace Street | Kenneth K. Humphreys
This book is a wonderful compilation of some of his sermons over the past few years. "Mountain Ministry: Living on Grace Street" is a jewel that you will want to keep beside you to remind you of God's love and care and calling.
Dr. Kenneth K. Humphreys had a long career in engineering before taking early retirement and feeling the call to enter the ministry. He is the pastor of the two churches, Siloam Presbyterian near Old Fort, North Carolina and Conley Memorial Presbyterian near Marion, North Carolina. Siloam is one of the oldest Presbyterian Churches in Western North Carolina, having been founded in 1778, only two years after the American Revolution. Conley Memorial is a comparatively new church, relatively speaking, having been founded in 1886. These two churches sit in the mountains, hence the title of this book.
Ken also serves as the chaplain at Boy Scout Camp Bud Schiele near Rutherfordton, NC each summer. He has been married to Betsy for over 55 years. They have four children, Ken Jr., Keith, Kevin, and Karen and five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Connor, Owen, Lionel, and Emmett.
