What in the World Does God Want? | J. Larry Pittman
THIS book is an attempt to make sense of the way to pleasing God on a personal level. I want to make it easier for folks to find out more about that mystical, indescribable thing we refer to as God’s Will. It is a thing rather difficult to even approach understanding as long as we remain confused and perplexed with dogma, theological wrangling, rules and expectations. There are expectations on many fronts; from the church, our pastors, leaders and teachers, from ourselves. I believe I’ve discovered, or rather rediscovered and easier, long forgotten way. It is a way of following God through the paths He has designed for us that twists and wind through, in and around the labyrinth and mire of paths offered to us by the world and people in it. It is a reminder that even if we should stray down a less than perfect path, God is there with us and can gently urge us back into a better way, where lay his better blessing but all the while teaching, growing and nurturing us even in the wrong paths we may have chosen. While he may not have intended we walk in certain ways, he is always there to love and lead us no matter how far afield we may have wandered. This missive is an attempt to help sincerely struggling souls to possibly find a more sensible way to find better paths on which to tread where God walks with us whether we know it at first or not.
