Made in the Images of God | Elizabeth Lee
In Made in the Images of God, Elizabeth Lee brings together trinitarian theology and virtue ethics. Examining the images of God in the work of John Zizioulas, Elizabeth Johnson, and Catherine Keller, she shows how these different understandings of the divine can yield different insights into the human person. Lee’s use of multiple trinitarian perspectives thus encourages a moral anthropology that values diversity and is able to more fully include traditionally marginalized groups. The virtues she proposes offer new insights into what it means to be in an ethical relationship with another human being.
Dr. Elizabeth Lee is an Instructor of Religion and Philosophy at High Point University. She holds a Ph.D. in Ethics from the Graduate Theological Union and an M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
