Scripture and Adaptive Change
Scripture and Adaptive Change
Praise to Rev. Dr. Nancy Meehan Yao for this powerful and helpful guide for us as we face the inevitable changes in life. In this book, Rev. Dr. Meehan Yao has prepared a most remarkable study of how to face life’s changes, both intentional and accidental, with confidence instead of anxiety, knowing that God walks with us through every change in life. In a world of change, it is good to remember this fundamental lesson.
Rev. Mark Ennis
We can all sense that change has come and change is needed for the church. But how? What will change look like? Adaptive change -- change that is flexible, open-ended, and experimenting -- is not a new buzzword from the business world or the latest theory from academia. Instead, Nancy Meehan Yao shows how it is a thread woven throughout the entire Bible, the way of God. In scripture we find examples and tools to give us the creativity and courage to step into adaptive change.
