Putting Nature in Focus | Debbie Hudson
Putting Nature in Focus | Debbie Hudson
Growing up in a southern country home as an
only child blessed Debbie with a strong love of
nature. Her parents taught her all about nature,
whether it be vegetable and flower gardening or
caring for the animals they raised.
With this love came her desire to capture all the
beauty that God created with her passion for
photography. Debbie was a late bloomer to the
artistic world of poetry, but thankfully, there is no
age limit to art. She has found a serenity and
calmness in writing poetry.
Haiku is her favorite form of poetry as she is still a kid at heart. With her love
of photography, she has found that merging photography and poetry
together captures what your eyes may miss at first glance. She hopes to share
her love of writing with her boys and grandchildren so that they will one day
pass it on to theirs.
Debbie is the mother of two amazing sons whom are eighteen years apart in
age and four precious grandchildren whom she loves to spend time with.
Debbie has a chihuahua named Lucy and several cats. Debbie currently
works as an administrative assistant at a fire department in a beautiful little
one-red-light town in rural West Georgia. She has taken numerous classes
through FEMA in Emergency Management and a class for Emergency
Medical Responder. Debbie also attended West Central Technical College
and obtained a certificate in Computer Applications, Document Design
Specialist and Microsoft Office User Specialist.
In addition to her hobby of photography, she also enjoys trying new recipes
and restaurants and watching Hallmark movies. Now as her youngest son is
off to college, Debbie is just trying to put her life in focus one day at a time,
one picture at a time and one poem at a time.
